At Leave It To Me Construction, our goal is simple: deliver high-quality work, clear communication, and results homeowners can feel proud of. The best measure of that success is the feedback we receive from the people we work with.
We’re grateful for every homeowner who has trusted us with their renovation project and taken the time to share their experience.
John and his crew were amazing, to say the least! I have never worked with such a responsive, dedicated, and talented contractor. John went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect and never hesitated to address any questions or concerns promptly.
Anderson and Rey were like family! They are probably two of the hardest-working people I have ever met. They showed up promptly every day, worked incredibly hard, and always left the place spotless at the end of each day.
My kitchen and foyer turned out absolutely amazing—beyond anything I could have expected! I couldn’t be happier with the results or the entire experience.
I already have more projects planned, and there’s no question about who I’ll be calling. Leave It To Me Construction is my contractor for life! I highly recommend John and his entire team to anyone looking for exceptional craftsmanship, professionalism, and people who truly care about their work.

Our total renovation of two bathrooms went flawlessly. John and his team were exceptional from beginning to end. The project started on time each day and the employees were considerate keeping our home environment clean. There was excellent communication during the project to ensure our desired outcome. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is second to none. Highly regard this contractor.
They renovated our bathroom and did a good job, especially Victor. They responded to questions in a timely manner and consulted us when necessary. The team was courteous. We were able to go about our business while they worked. We would highly recommend them.
I hired Leave It To Me Construction for a full kitchen and bathroom remodel, and they completely exceeded my expectations. From the first consultation to the final walkthrough, the team was professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about getting every detail right.
They showed up on time every day, kept the job site clean, and communicated clearly about progress and any decisions that needed to be made. The craftsmanship is excellent—the finishes look sharp, everything is solid and well-built, and they paid attention to the small things that most crews overlook. They also stayed on schedule and within the quoted budget, which was a huge relief

Leave it to Me and its owner John were exceptional where some other contractors are weak – communication was excellent, they showed up when expected, and they made corrections when needed.
Ours was a gut renovation of a 9’x9’ bathroom in a condominium. We changed the size of our shower, added a second sink, made a closet smaller and changed a pocket door to a hinged door. We got a new toilet (with washlet), vanity, sinks, shower body, and lighting. We did get city permits for electric and plumbing, because we are in a condominium building.
Communication was excellent. John showed up when he said he’d show up, and called if his schedule slipped. He always told us when his crew was going to arrive. He returned our calls, and even called to check in when we were not expecting it. Some days we’d have a list of questions and John would go through each one with us because he genuinely wanted us to be happy with the process. If we saw something that seemed a bit off, he would listen and the issue would get resolved right away. He was always just a phone call away for his crew, too, if they had questions.
The crew is professional and knowledgeable. About 6 or 7 different guys worked on our project, on different days. They were all polite and we felt comfortable having them in our home and in the common areas of our condominium building. Some days we could not be at home when they were working and we were at ease with that. When necessary, they would go pick up materials, doors, tiles, as needed. They would come find us if they had a question. A shout out to Bryan because he refused an order of a door because he saw that it was damaged. Victor, the man who did all the tile work (we had A LOT of tile!), did an amazing job. He was patient and steady. He worked with us on a custom application on the shower floor that we just love.
Each day the crew would put down pads to protect floors, and plastic on furniture where needed. At the end of each day they would clean up the work area, as well as the halls they moved through. Before they left, they would put things back where we wanted them. This was important as with a reno this size, furniture needs to be moved for easier access and they leave tools and materials in your home throughout the job. Neighbors remarked the crew was polite and tidy when loading and unloading their trucks.
A few days after our work was done, John and his crew came back to install all the towel bars and cabinet pulls. We had a list of small things: a crooked fan, a misaligned light… do we need a bit more caulk here and there? No matter how small the request, John and his crew took care of it all. They even had a professional cleaning crew come in and deep clean the two bedrooms and the hall that were used during the work.
We could not be more happy with the work and the experience. The overall workmanship is very high quality. The vanity top is stellar. The tile is precise. The towel bars, lights and medicine cabinets are straight. The shower is WOW!!
To top it off, the job was done on schedule and within the budget we were quoted. The other reviews you will read are true, this is a top notch company. We highly recommend Leave It To Me Construction.

Primary bed bathroom and small walk-in overhaul from the 90's and beyond! Shower, floor, vanity, toilet with Toto seat, niche, etc. Ripped out wire closet system, walls, etc and replaced. Excellent work from start to finish. John presented a comprehensive plan for the project with upfront expenses and his team began work promptly and efficiently. Beautiful tile work in the walk-in shower (replacing the tile, tub) and navigated around a shower window including unforeseen water damage which was rapidly diagnosed and resolved to minimize delays. Also asked for additional removal of chair rails throughout the upstairs and entryway and fresh paint as well as to exterior as well as power washing. George, Victor, Rey and all on John's team went above and beyond, friendly, and respectful (closed up each evening cleaning up and communicating next steps, etc.) John managed the projects from start to finish and would check in and provide updates. John and his team really delivered on time and quality work with trust while collaborating and responding to minor challenges quickly all to an excellent finish.
John is the absolute best contractor! Look no further. I contracted John to completely gut renovate an investment property I purchased. I was not local and I did everything virtually and over the phone with him. I trusted him with a big project and he did not disappoint me in any way. Always took my calls and FaceTimes and delivered a beautiful new unit to me. Top of the line finishes delivered by his team and an honest person, I would recommend over and over again!

We recently completed a hall bathroom renovation with Leave It to Me, and the results are fantastic. The project turned out exactly as I had hoped.
The team was highly skilled, neat, detail-oriented, and professional. They arrived on time every day, worked diligently, and always confirmed our preferences before proceeding. Additionally, they ensured the workspace was cleaned up at the end of each day.
We are very happy with the final result and are already planning our next renovation with Leave It to Me.

Response from the owner:The hallways bathroom came out amazing. You guys did a great job picking out all the materials.
I would highly recommend John from Leave It To Me Construction for any type of renovation or tile work. John came to my home and installed a beautiful decorative tile backsplash behind my stove, along with a timeless herringbone design.
The crew, Victor and Anderson, were extremely professional, punctual, and very detail-oriented. They took their time to lay everything out perfectly, kept the work area neat, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were finished. They also communicated with me throughout the process and were happy to answer any questions I had.
John was always attentive and responsive to my text messages, getting back to me within a couple of hours every time. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend this company!

John and his crew did a great job renovating my master bath - highly recommend!
Response from the owner:Thank you for all the trust and you guys were great to work for.
Response from the owner:Thank you !
John and his team of very talented tile setters did an amazing job on our bathroom. The craftsmanship is top notch, but also the experience was flawless. Being a master bath renovation it could have been very disruptive but John and his team kept the whole place clean and dust free. They were very easy to communicate with and promptly answered all questions. I’d highly recommend them for any tile job big or small.
Response from the owner:We appreciate the opportunity thank you !
John at Leave It To Me is a true professional. We had the pleasure of working with John and his team during a full renovation of our 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condo. John was always attentive and very responsive during the entire process from start to finish. He guided us through every step, starting with our initial meetings to discuss plans and discuss details.
John helped us navigate a tight timeline between the selling of our home and getting the condo move in ready. Renovations and remodels are exciting until they become overwhelming with all the moving parts - order delays, scheduling, unexpected snags and making selections of all the items you need. Throughout it all John was always responsive, communicative and guided us through the process.
His team works hard to ensure their work is of top-notch quality. I wholeheartedly recommend "Leave It To Me"—John and his team will exceed your expectations!

John installed a brand new bathroom in my second home. He did a perfect job and made sure that every aspect of the work was done according to my expectations. The bathroom is in my second home and John did not mind at all to send me videos and communicate as much as was needed.
If you love your home, hire John because he will treat your home as if it was his own and you’ll get quality work!!!

John and his team are absolutely outstanding. He spent time in the beginning going over everything with my wife and I and really listened to our wants and needs. Once he put a plan together he followed it and remained on budget. He answered our calls and/or called back in a timely manner every time. We are overjoyed with the end result. After a year, we had another project, and we called him right away to do the project, and the results of project 2 were again phenomenal. John is a true professional and a great person!
Quiero recomendar ampliamente jhon y su equipo de trabajo, fue excelente desde el inicio hasta la entrega final. September 2025 - Since completing the bathroom remodel with "Leave It To Me Construction," we have hired John and his team to do basement insulation and dry-wall work. My instincts are right - this is the team to hire for remodel or other interior repair or construction work. It is just wonderful to work with John - he is highly collaborative, listens to your concerns and provides prompt recommendations and prices. His price seems very reasonable (I am not comparing with any other company because I just don't have the time to get multiple estimates) based on what I know and have learnt myself doing handyman work myself. You can probably get other technically good remodeling companies but what I am mostly looking for ethical, and honest professionals as well as the team to complete the work as promised on schedule. John and his team fit this bill and I would not hire anyone else going forward. Please note - John is not a friend of mine or I am getting some kind of discount to write this review. I am just a satisfied customer who likes this company's work ethics and professionalism.
March 2025 - We recently hired John and his team, for a full bathroom remodel, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, the team was professional, punctual, and incredibly detail-oriented. They listened carefully to what we wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and stayed within budget and timeline—which is rare! They even made in-flight changes that we requested (as the project was only about 20% complete). Thanks to Victor for always accommodating us.
The quality of workmanship is top-notch. The tile work is flawless, the fixtures are perfectly installed, and the space looks modern and polished. They kept the worksite clean each day and communicated clearly throughout the entire project. John is a classic project manager - always tells you what's going to be done for that day and at the end of the day he will communicate again to tell you what the next steps are. This is where this company excels. And once they start the work they will work everyday to meet the project deadline.
If you're looking for a contractor who delivers beautiful work with honesty and integrity, I highly recommend John and his crew. I’ll definitely be calling them again for future projects!
NOTE: Just ensure that your specs are very clear with your project so that John can easily incorporate in his design. It makes life easy for you and John's team.
